This night was an unforgettable one, filled with laughter, nervousness, talking and eating. Everyone did a great job with their learning centres and speeches, and I can’t wait for next year’s eminent. I decided to make a video with some of the footage from my Gopro… Enjoy!!
Very reliable biography of Audrey Hepburn that includes many useful facts, and was a great source to use if you would like to learn about her life. It includes things about the war, her childhood, rising to stardom etc. It is also very short and concise.
This is where I found gifs of Audrey to use for my blog posts, this one is pretty self explanatory.
This was an amazing source, the UNICEF website. This page includes all of the work that Audrey has done with the organization, and even a short video with clips of her helping children all over the world.
This was another source that talked about Audrey’s work with UNICEF, but I loved this one in particular because it wasn’t very factual. It talked about why she chose to work with UNICEF and how she made a difference in children’s lives.
Another biography that helped me learn more about Audrey’s life.
This website wasn’t about Audrey Hepburn’s life during the war, but about how the war affected the world and how people were living in those difficult times. This helped me to understand what she and her country were going through.
Here I found very inspirational quotes that Audrey had written/said to include in my learning centre. They also helped me get to know Audrey as a person and what her attitude was like.
Yet another biography about Audrey’s life – her childhood, work with children and how she became famous.
This wikipedia article was one I read at the very beginning of this project, to get a feel for her life and why she is eminent.
Audrey Hepburn’s favourite chocolate cake recipe, nut free and gluten free. I made this for my learning centre!
This was the only book I read for this project, but it was probably the most useful source I found! It was written by her son – Sean Hepburn Ferrer – and it was the main resource for my speech because I was doing it in the point of view of him. It was extremely useful and I loved reading it, because it was so detailed/interesting to read.
